Its December already!

Its December already! This year has whizzed by.  It's been a real year of firsts for Yateley Papers: Our first products, first shows, first stockists, first customers, first sales. We've worked really hard and are so proud of our products and have learnt such a lot - neither of us really appreciated how many different 'hats' we'd have to wear - sales hat, creative hat, business hat, marketing hat....we've come a long way from receiving our very first stationery products at the beginning of 2016 to now creating more and introducing our block printing workshops. It's been exciting, nail biting, challenging and fun all at once.  A big thank you to our friends, family , followers and customers for all your support, it has been truly appreciated.

We are very much feeling the festive spirit having launched Yateley Papers' Christmas at The Country Homes and Interiors Christmas fair set in the grounds of Stonor Park. It was a beautifully organized fair filled with a plethora of stands selling an array of sumptuous knitwear, Artwork, home accessories, jewellery, gifts, fine food and wine. It was the perfect place to get some Christmas shopping done.  Visitors came to watch our block printing demonstrations and fill their bags with stocking fillers and paper chains galore, a glass of fizz in one hand and cheery Christmas singers getting everyone feeling festive. Our Yateley Papers origami stars made by Daisy were a triumph and we are so glad we kept a couple back to top our own tree, they look terrific!  It has been wonderful to see our paper chains hanging in different far and wide in people's homes.

We also fitted in a fair at the magnificent Goodnestone Park in Kent, ran a Christmas wrapping paper block printing workshop with Selvedge magazine. Selvedge readers and customers enjoyed a fun evening printing bags, paper and labels and left ready to make their Christmas presents look amazing.

Next year's calendar of plans and events is filling fast with shows in London and workshops in Surrey,  London and the south of France booked in. Keep checking our website and Instagram pages to see what we are up to next.

In the meantime we wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy and Prosperous 2017
